1. HOW TO ORDER
Before ordering homewares, please check that the dimensions of the item/s you
are ordering are suitable for the space you intend. Order your goods online via our shopping basket and checkout pages. This will send Vintage Living your basket contents, personal address and delivery address. Your order will be confirmed
shortly afterwards, as confirmation of receipt but not availability. We
will then check the stock availability.
2. ORDER CONFIRMATION
If available, your order will be confirmed to you by telephone, at which
time we will ask for payment in full by cheque or credit/debit card (see
below). We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions
and prices are correct on the website on a regular basis, however we cannot
confirm these details until your order is accepted. If goods are not available,
we will advise you as soon as possible by e-mail. If we cannot contact
you, orders will be treated as cancelled.
3. STOCK AVAILABILITY AND PRICING
You are ordering from a small and uniquely individual shop and therefore
we would advise customers that by the nature of the goods we sell, some
items are available only on a one-off basis. Prices shown are valid for
7 days and will be confirmed during our telephone discussion.
4. PAYMENT
Prices indicated for products include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing
rate. The cost of delivery is an additional cost (see below). We retain
legal ownership of the goods until full payment is received and in the
case of a refund, ownership will immediately revert back to us, once goods
are received by us.
We accept payment by cheque (goods depatched when
funds cleared), Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo. Our VAT number
is 841663719
4. DELIVERY
We aim to deliver within 14 days or sooner if possible, once your order
has been confirmed by telephone or e-mail. We will make every effort to
deliver in the time stated on our website but we will not be liable for
any loss caused to you by late delivery. Vintage Living delivers only within the UK.
5. COST OF DELIVERY
Delivery charges depend on the goods ordered, their weight and value.
You will be advised of the delivery cost when we confirm availability.
We will calculate the charge as
shown here.
6. CANCELLATION
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Regulations
2000 you may cancel your order and return unsuitable goods within 7 working
days of receipt. We will make a full refund, but unless goods are incorrect,
damaged or faulty we will require you to pay the delivery charge and cost
of return postage. Goods must be returned in the original packing and
unused. We suggest you use recorded delivery via the Royal
Mail.
If you receive items which are faulty, damaged
or otherwise incorrect through our error, please notify us immediately
and return them to us with full details of fault, order date and invoice:
please specify whether you require a refund or replacement item. Where
a refund is requested we will refund the full purchase price of the product,
including delivery charge, within 30 days of your notification.
7. GENERAL INFORMATION
All measurements of products are approximate. We make no promise that
our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free and we cannot
be held responsible for events arising by use of the internet, that are
beyond our control.
8. PRIVATE DATA
When you place an order with Vintage Living or agree to go on our mailing
list, you will be agreeing for us, on an occasional basis, to supply
you with further information about us ie special offers etc. This information
will be for the use of Vintage Living only, and is for the sole purpose
of keeping valued customers up to date. You may unsubscribe at any time.
9. LINKS
Our website contains links to other websites which are not under the control
of and are not maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience
only and therefore we cannot be responsible in any way for the content
of those sites.
